Welcome to the 3rd edition of the reworked dealer portion of our website.
Included is a set of the tools available for you to manage your account online.
When the page first opens it will display all orders in a listing towards the bottom. You can restrict this listing by selecting a customer, order form or load sheet from the gray area on the top left (remember to push the button under the choice list to execute). The order list may also be sorted by customer, order #, variety, status, date and load number by clicking on the
next to the title of the one you wanted sorted. You may also edit customer info or an order line by clicking the
next to the corresponding customer or variety.
Modifying orders has some restrictions in it that might not be obvious to you-
-It will not allow you to alter any shipped entries.
-If you add to an order above the original amount you will create a new order for the difference between the two with today's date.
-If you change variety you will have the orignal date ordered dropped and today's date used.
In addition by clicking on
next to order number will bring up a printable order with discounts figured in it (provided you put those discounts in). Renk Seed does not use these discounts other then to figure out pricing on the printable order . It is up to you to put the proper discounts in. The database does make an effort to figure zone pricing for rootworm corns but it only works if the customer's zipcode is in the proper zone.
The
button shows all dealer orders if you want to unrestrict what is currently being displayed.
The
button opens a form to allow for a customer to be added.
The
button opens a form to allow for a new order to be added. I think you will find this a little more natural way to add an order form then in the past. I would like the grade list to change to match the variety selected and pop up availabilty for that variety but have not figured out how to do that programatically yet. The one caution I would give you is that the form requires a unique order number (across all dealer's orders) so using a order # such as '1', '2' or '3' is not a good idea. The best practice is to use the number from prerpinted order forms we have provided you or work in a unique coding system such as dealer code + number (1tra-1).
The
button produces a list of cash payments sorted by customer and then date.
The
button shows current availability for all varieties.
The
button allows for editing of an existing customer.
The
button allows for editing of an existing order header.
